Our Neighbourhood Plan: responding to what’s been said

As we approach the referendum on 6 May 21 which will determine whether or not the proposed Neighbourhood Plan will be adopted many people have raised questions about it and especially its value to the community. Some have also identified errors.

Answers to many of these questions have been developed and these are available on this website (click FAQs in the menu bar to read them directly) and can be downloaded (click here to download).

The identified errors have been addressed and an action plan to correct them and, where appropriate, to add more explanation, is proposed. Click here to view this action plan.

Note that it will not be necessary to change any of the Plan’s policies as a result of implementing this plan.

It is not possible to make any changes to the Plan before the vote takes place. However it will be updated at the earliest possible opportunity.

Residents are encouraged to continue to comment on the Plan. They may do so by email to Histon & Impington Parish Council (np@hisimp.net) or directly by phone to David Jenkins (Chair, Neighbourhood Plan Team on 07739 758 859).
